The education system has changed a lot in recent times. It's very important for education institutions to get NAAC approval by implementing the guidelines of the NAAC criteria. said by Karnataka higher education council officer Prof. M Jayappa.
He was speaking after Inagurating the “One day Digital fluency training program for college lectures and nodel Nodel officers and the opening of Institution innovation council under Karnataka university, MES mm arts and science and NASCOM Bengaluru held at Mm arts and science college, Sirsi.
Digital fluency has Included as skill based subject in NEP. Digital fluency is already implemented in 17 universities across the state. Karnataka University of dharwad has starting the program from this year. In today's time it's necessary for everyone to have digital education.On this note NASCOM is giving training for teaching staff to make students better in digital aspects. He cleared that The program will not give any economical burden for students.
The chairperson of the program president of MES G.M. Hegde Mulkhand, said that science and technology has advanced a lot. So it's essential to give students digital training.He said that digital fluency program should have been implemented a lot before as It will help students to participate in international stage. NEP has been implemented for the betterment of students.At last he said Workshop like this helps to train the teaching staff.
NEP Nodel officer of Karnataka University Prof. Suresh Tawar applauded The role of NASCOM. He said that training by experts to the lectures will give a systematic education for students during the introductory speech.At last Dr. Ganesh Hegde gave an elaboration on IIC. He said, The program aims to improve working skill of students which will help them in future.
NASCOM officer Dinesh Kumar and Gogte college belgavi Prof.Venugopal Jalihala gave traning sessions. Lectures of Uttara Kannada and Haveri district participated in program along with Digital fluency Nodal officers. Principal Dr.T.S. Halemane welcomed. IQAC Co-ordinator Dr. S.S bhat did vote of thanks and Dr. Satish Naik Anchored the program.
